Business / Executive Coaching

Business coaching only really varies from Personal Coaching in that it is usually requested and/or funded by the clients company rather than the individual themselves, and that more of the issues covered are work related.

However, in addition to focusing on the company and work situation, I also work to understand about the individual’s personality, experiences and approach to life; as these factors will have a strong influence on life and work satisfaction, job performance and how motivated and empowered they feel about making productive changes.

The aim of business coaching is to facilitate improvements for the individual in their work environment, career path and work/life balance, as well as for the company that employs them. With suitable coaching, clients can learn about themselves: their personal style, limiting beliefs and the ineffective behaviours which can create barriers and prevent them from being effective, confident, enthusiastic and productive.

 

 

 

I believe that business coaching should provide clients with a safe, yet challenging, environment in which they can explore their thoughts, feelings and any specific issues or problems. The goal is always for the client to feel that they are able to move forward in a positive way.

My role as coach is to engender a feeling of trust and empathy with the client and assist them in working through difficult issues, while developing their self-confidence to make the necessary changes in behaviour and thinking to gain different results.

All coaching is aimed at developing the individual to achieve work and life satisfaction, this of course includes job satisfaction, any work related issues and goal setting.

Common benefits experienced from coaching include:

Sessions are usually face-to-face, however programmes can be adapted to incorporate some telephone sessions.
